Answer from: U.S. Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. (D-PA)

Democrat or republican in most cases people want to get dollars in the hands of people who want to go to college or community college. I know in Pennsylvania, they are a central cog in the wheel to building a skilled workforce. It’s remarkable what’s happening right now. We’ve got to make sure we invest in community colleges because it’s a sector of our economy that’s been neglected and it’s a sector of our economy that’s essential whether or not we can compete in a world economy and community colleges play a huge role in that.
