 <title>Over withhold on your taxes &amp; you can get an interest free refund and that&#039;s like giving the government an interest free loan.
Why, if you under withhold,  pay up any balance due when you file on time-- you will still be charged interest on the amount under withheld?
Note, Maryland&#039;s interest rate is about twice that of the IRS rate-- why?
